Bupple

MCP

Drive Bupple from your own AI tools

Bupple is an MCP server at api.bupple.io/v1/mcp: point Claude Desktop, Cursor or your own agent at it with a personal token, and it uses your workspace's tools with only the permissions that token was given. MCP is on the SMB, Agency and Enterprise plans.

The screens for making tokens (Account › API tokens) and adding MCP servers (Settings › MCP servers) are switched off in the app for now. MCP itself still runs — talk to us if you need it today.

Three steps to connect

Bupple speaks the Model Context Protocol over streamable HTTP. Any client that can reach a remote MCP server with a bearer token can connect. Tokens start with bmcp_.

Get a personal token

Step 1
bmcp_…

Point your client at Bupple

Step 2
https://api.bupple.io/v1/mcp

Send it as a bearer token

Step 3
Authorization: Bearer bmcp_…

Permissions

What a token may do

You choose when you make the token. Whatever holds it can do what you ticked, on your workspace, without you — so tick only what the tool needs.

DEFAULT
nothing ticked

A new token reaches only the tools that need no permission and spend nothing. Everything else waits for you to tick it.

GRANT
storage.write

Add and edit files in the Media Library.

GRANT
storage.delete

Delete files.

GRANT
brand.update

Edit the Brand Kit.

GRANT
posts.write

Draft posts.

GRANT
ai.chat

Use the agents.

GRANT
media.generate

Make images, video and sound.

SPEND
may spend credits

A separate yes. Without it the token is not even shown a tool that costs credits. Agency and Enterprise.

Example config

One entry in your client

This is Cursor's format; other clients ask for the same two things — the address and the Authorization header.

.cursor/mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"bupple": {
"url": "https://api.bupple.io/v1/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer bmcp_your-token"
}
}
}
}

A token belongs to a person

It is made on your own account page, for the workspace you are in, and revoked there.

Shown once

The token is shown when you make it and never again. Bupple keeps only a hash. Lose it and you make a new one.

Nothing extra by default

A token can only do what you ticked when you made it, even if you hold more yourself, and it reaches nothing that costs credits unless you said so.

Revoke at any time

Revoking stops a token at once. Every call a token makes is recorded, and calls are rate limited per token.

The other direction

Bupple is an MCP client too. A remote MCP server added in Settings › MCP servers belongs to one brand, and an admin picks which of its tools that brand's agents may use. None until they do.
