Canva — Canva in Bupple

How to connect your Canva account to Bupple, take an image to Canva and bring the design back.

Video coming soon

The tutorial for this chapter is being recorded. The guide below covers everything in the meantime.

Connect your own Canva account, take an image from your Media Library to Canva, and bring the finished design back as a new file. You can also import a design you started in Canva.

Canva in Bupple

Open Canva from Integrations in the sidebar. You only see it when Canva is on for your workspace.

The Canva page with the connected account, Import from Canva and Take an image to Canva

Under Your Canva account, press Connect Canva and sign in to Canva. The card then says Connected as with your Canva name. Only you are connected. Everybody else in the workspace connects their own Canva account.
To take an image to Canva, press Choose an image under Take an image to Canva. Tick Split it into layers with Magic Layers first if you want to edit each part separately. Canva opens in a new tab with a new design made from the image.
Finish the design in Canva and use Canva's return button. Bupple says Saving your design to your files…, then offers Open the file.
  1. Disconnect removes your Canva account from Bupple.
  2. Import from Canva brings in a design you made in Canva. Every page becomes its own file in Apps › Canva, on the brand you are working in. You can import a PNG or JPG image, a PowerPoint (PPTX) or an MP4 video.
  3. Take an image to Canva sends one of your images to Canva. You can also do this from any image's preview in the Media Library: open its Canva section and press Take this to Canva.

Designs you sent from Bupple are listed under Your designs from here, with Open in Canva, Open the file and Save again.

Good to know

If the Canva page says Coming soon, Canva is not open for your workspace yet. You will connect your own Canva account on that page once it is.
