Platform 101
Members and roles
How to invite people to your workspace, give them a role, change one person's access, make your own roles, set up campaign roles and hand the workspace to someone else.
Video coming soon
The tutorial for this chapter is being recorded. The guide below covers everything in the meantime.
Three settings pages decide who is in your workspace and what each person can do: Members, Platform roles and Campaign roles. Open them from workspace settings: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Workspace › Manage workspace. See General for how settings are laid out.
Members
Members is where you invite people and decide what they can do.

Invite someone
Under Invite someone, type an Email address, pick a Role (Admin, Member or Viewer; Member to begin with) and press Send invite. Bupple emails them a single-use link that expires. If they already have a Bupple account, they are told in the product too. If the email does not go out, the page says so, and you can copy the link and send it yourself.
The member table

Each row shows the Person, their Role, their Access, when they Joined, and Manage.
- Role. Change a person's role from the menu in their row. Your own roles are listed under Your workspace's roles. The owner's row just says Owner.
- Access. Says whether the person has exactly their role's rights (for example Member defaults) or changes on top (Member · 2 added, 1 removed). Click it to change rights for this one person.
- Make owner hands the workspace to someone else. Only the owner sees it. You become an admin, and only the new owner can undo it.
- The bin removes a person. They lose access at once, and anything they made stays.
Use Search a name or an email, Filters (by role, or by role defaults or customized access) and the sort menu to find someone in a long list.
Change one person's access
Clicking a person's access opens Access for (their name), with every right Bupple has, grouped by area. Each right has a short sentence saying what it allows, and rights that spend credits are marked spends credits.

Anything you change here applies to this person only. Everyone else in the same role is unaffected. A right you add is marked added, and a right you take away is marked removed. Press Save access.
Pending invitations
Invitations not yet accepted are listed under Pending invitations, with the role, when the link expires, and whether the email went out. You can still change the role. Copy link gives you the invitation link to send yourself, which helps if the email lands in spam. Resend sends a new email, and the old link stops working. Revoke cancels the invitation.
Platform roles
Platform roles lists the roles people can hold in the workspace: a set of things they can do and the apps they can open. Three are built in:
- Admin runs the workspace: people, brands, content and model policy. An admin cannot spend money or delete the workspace unless given that right.
- Member produces work: uploads, brands, drafts, publishing and AI generation. No people or billing access.
- Viewer is read-only. A viewer sees the workspace, its brands, its library and its posts, and can produce nothing.
There is always exactly one Owner, with full control, including billing and deleting the workspace.
Press New role to make your own.

Then put people in the role from Members. If you change a role later, the people in it get the change on their next click. Nobody has to sign in again. A role above your own says Above your role, and you cannot change it.
Campaign roles
Campaign roles decide what a person can do inside one campaign. You give someone a campaign role when you add them to a campaign. Owner is built in and belongs to whoever starts a campaign. Each workspace also starts with a few ready-made roles, which you can rename, change or delete.
Each campaign role is a mix of five rights: See the campaign, Comment, Make content, Sign off (approve content before it is published) and Manage (edit the details, the members and the credit limit). Press New role to add your own, for example Copywriter. See Campaigns.
