Webhooks
How to send your workspace's events to Zapier, Make, your CRM or your own tools — add a webhook, keep its secret, test it and read its delivery log.

The tutorial for this chapter is being recorded. The guide below covers everything in the meantime.
Webhooks let Bupple call your URL each time something you pick happens — a file is uploaded, a post is scheduled, an automation finishes — so Zapier, Make, your CRM or your own tools can act on it. Open Webhooks from workspace settings: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Workspace › Manage workspace. You need the right to manage webhooks to see it.
Add a webhook
Press Add webhook (or Add your first webhook when there are none).

- URL. Must start with https://. Addresses on a private network are refused.
- Description (optional), so you remember what it is for.
- Send events from: The whole workspace, One brand or One campaign.
- Send every event, which also includes events Bupple adds later. Or turn it off and pick events one by one. Each event has an Example of what is sent.
Bupple then shows the webhook's signing secret once: Copy it now — this is the only time Bupple shows it. Press Copy secret, keep it somewhere safe, then I've saved it.
Check that a call came from Bupple

Every call carries a signature made with your secret. The Webhooks page explains, under Checking that a call came from Bupple, how your developer can check it, so nobody else can pretend to be Bupple. The same event can arrive twice, so your tool should skip one it has already handled.
Your webhooks
The list shows each webhook's URL, its Events, its Status and its Last call. Click one to open it.
At the top of a webhook's page are Send test, Edit, Turn off (or Turn on), Rotate secret and Delete. Details says where its events come from, which events it sends, and when it was added.
A webhook that keeps failing is switched off by itself, and says so (Off — kept failing). You also get a notice. A webhook for a campaign is switched off when that campaign is deleted.
The delivery log
Delivery log is every call Bupple made to the URL, newest first. Filter it by All, Failed, Retrying, Delivered or Canceled. Each delivery shows its Event, Status, how many Tries and When. Open one to see each try and What was sent. A failed call is tried again a few times by itself. Resend sends a delivery again. Show older deliveries loads more.
What to read next
- Automations — work that runs by itself inside Bupple, on a schedule or when something happens.
- Members and roles — who may manage webhooks.
Files and data
Your workspace's storage, its connected social accounts, file tags, automatic processing, what Find searches, and the Activity log of everything people did and spent.
