Posts
How to plan, write and publish social posts in Bupple — the calendar and grid, filters, connecting accounts, the New post screen and a post's own page.
Posts is where your brand's social posts live. You connect your social accounts once, write a post with its pictures or video, and choose whether it goes out now, at a set time or stays a draft. Every post, whoever made it, shows on one calendar. Open it from Posts in the sidebar, or press P. Like the rest of Bupple, Posts belongs to the brand you have selected at the top of the sidebar, so each brand has its own accounts and its own calendar.
The Posts page
Posts opens on a calendar of the current month. Each post sits on the day it goes out, with its time, the networks it goes to and the start of its caption.

- Grid and Calendar switch between the two layouts. Your choice is part of the page's address, so a reload or a link you share opens the same layout.
- Connect account adds a social account to this brand. See Connect your social accounts.
- New post opens the post composer.
- The filters narrow both layouts. See Filter your posts.
- Month and Week change how much of the calendar you see. Use the arrows to move to the previous or next month or week, and Today to come back to the current one.
Under the calendar, a key explains the colors: Draft, Scheduled, Publishing, Published, Partly published, Failed and Canceled. A draft has a dashed outline, so you can tell at a glance what is planned but not yet set to go. Partly published means the post went out to some of its accounts but not all of them.
Click any post on the calendar to open it.
The grid
Switch to Grid to see your posts as cards, newest first. The number next to the Posts heading counts the cards on screen. The grid loads 24 posts at a time. Press Load more at the bottom to see older ones.

Each card shows the post's first picture or video, the start of its caption, the networks it goes to, its status, its date and time, and who made it (Created by). A published post also shows how many impressions and engagements it has had so far.
When there is nothing yet
If the brand has no connected accounts and no posts, the page says Connect an account to start posting and offers Connect account. With accounts but no posts, it says No posts yet and offers New post and Connect account.
Filter your posts
The row of filters works in both the calendar and the grid:
- All networks — show only posts that go to one network, such as Instagram or LinkedIn.
- All accounts — show only posts that go to one of your connected accounts.
- Any time — pick a date range.
- All statuses — show only drafts, scheduled, publishing, published, failed or canceled posts.
- All campaigns — show only the posts in one campaign. See Campaigns.
Once any filter is set, a Clear filters button appears and puts them all back. The filters are part of the page's address too, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view. If nothing matches, the grid says No posts match these filters.
Connect your social accounts
Press Connect account on the Posts page, or the + next to Connected in the sidebar.

While you are in Posts, the sidebar shows the brand's accounts under Connected.

To remove an account, hover over it in the list and click the x. Bupple asks first: This removes the connected account from this brand. You'll need to reconnect it to post again. Press Disconnect to confirm, or Cancel.
Write a new post
Press New post on the Posts page or in the sidebar. The composer has the post on the left and where and when it goes on the right.

1. Add media
Add media opens your Media Library so you can pick one or more images or videos. They show as numbered tiles. Drag a tile to change the order, or focus its handle, press Space and move it with the arrow keys. Media publishes in the order shown, so the order of the tiles is the order of a carousel. The x on a tile takes that file off. You can also post text only. With no media, the box says No media selected. Add images or videos, or post text only.
You can start a post from a file too. Open the file in the Media Library and choose Start a post with this file. The composer opens with the file already attached.
2. Write the caption
Type in the Caption box. The caption you write goes to every account you pick.
3. Let AI write the caption
The sparkle button in the caption box's corner opens Generate caption.

It writes from what is already on the screen: your caption, the pictures you added, and the networks and post types you picked. For a video it goes by the file's name, not the footage. You can add an instruction, such as make it a question or keep it under 20 words, and pick the model. Press Generate (or Enter). The new caption replaces what was in the box. If you prefer what you had, press Undo — put back what I wrote under the box. Writing a caption uses credits from your workspace. If the workspace is out of credits, the window says so.
4. Pick the accounts (Publish to)
Publish to lists the brand's connected accounts. Click an account to add it to the post, and click again to remove it. A picked account gets a menu for its post type: Text, Image, Video, Carousel, Story or Reel. The choices depend on your media:
| Your media | Post types you can pick |
|---|---|
| None | Text |
| One image | Image or Story |
| Several images | Carousel or Story |
| A video | Video, Reel or Story |
An account whose network cannot carry that kind of post is greyed out and marked Not supported. For example, YouTube takes video only, and TikTok and Instagram cannot take a text-only post.
5. Put it in a campaign
Campaign puts the post in one of the brand's campaigns. Choose No campaign to leave it out, or New campaign… to start a campaign and pick it in one step.
6. Choose when
Under When, choose one of three:
- Publish now — Goes live as soon as you press Publish, usually within a minute.
- Schedule — pick a date and time in the future. The line under it confirms the time, and the picker says which time zone it uses.
- Save as draft — nothing goes out. A Planned time (optional) puts the draft on the calendar on that day. Without one, it stays a draft. Clear removes a planned time.
7. Save, schedule or publish
The button at the bottom changes with your choice: Publish, Schedule for (the time), or Save draft. If it is greyed out, the line above it says why — for example, Nothing has been written or picked yet, or That planned time has already passed. Cancel goes back to Posts without saving.
Good to know
A post's own page
Click a post on the calendar or a card in the grid to open it. The post's address changes too, so you can copy it and send it to a teammate.

- The status and the post type (such as Image).
- When. For example Published at …, Will publish at …, or for a draft Draft — planned for … Nothing goes out until you schedule it.
- Who made it. Created by names the teammate who made the post. For a post the Superagent or an automation made, it names the person it was working for.
- The campaign. Set it, change it or clear it here, or start a new one.
Below that are the post's media (click a picture or video to open the file), its caption, and Targets: each account it goes to, with that account's own status. A published account has a View on link (such as View on LinkedIn) that opens the live post. If one account failed, its reason is shown under it, and sometimes the network's own words after The network said:.
The post's numbers
A published post has a Numbers section with each account's impressions, reach, views, likes, comments, shares, saves, clicks and engagement rate, and a small chart of impressions over time. See every number, day by day opens the post's page in Analytics.

Change a post that has not gone out
A post that is not finished has buttons at the bottom:
- A draft: Schedule for (its planned time), or Schedule… if it has none; Publish now; Change planned time (or Set planned time); and Cancel post. A draft with no accounts cannot be scheduled until it has some.
- A scheduled or failed post: Publish now, Reschedule and Cancel post.
Published and canceled posts have no buttons.
Comments on a post
Every post has comments at the bottom, for your team only. They never reach the social network. Type in Comment… @ someone, a file or a post: you can @ a teammate, a file or another post, use # to point at a file, or paste a link. Press Comment to add it. Pin keeps an important comment at the top.
Posts and the Superagent
You can also ask the Superagent to write and draft posts for you, in your brand's voice. A post it drafts shows in the chat as a card, and in Posts as a draft. Publishing is always your click.
